Federal Budget 2023
$5.7 billion over five years to strengthen Medicare
Access will be improved for all Australians through:
- Tripling of the bulk billing incentives for Concession card holders and patients under 16 years will be introduced on 1 November 2023.
- Bulk Billing for Pensioners and Children <16 years will be reintroduced 01/11/23 however this is at the Doctors discretion.
