Billing Notifications

Dear Patients, it is with regret that we have to inform you that due to the rise in cost associated with running a general practice and the minimal change to the Medicare rebates, as from the 3rd April 2023 a private fee will apply to all patients including children, this will enable us to continue to offer the same high quality patient care and service.

Reduced fees will be offered to those with current Centrelink concession cards, DVA and children 0-16 years. We will continue to Bulk Bill for care plans, health assessment and routine immunisation.

All New Patients will be requested to provide their card details to secure an appointment via HotDoc. You will be given an estimated cost based on the appointment type and payment will be automatically processed AFTER the appointment. The actual cost will be based on length and type of consult.

Travel immunisation will incur a private fee. If this will create hardship please discuss this with your GP.

In an effort to streamline reception processes, the payment method for telephone and carpark consults has changed.

Upon booking your appointment, a text message will be sent to your mobile phone asking you to provide a payment method securely via HotDoc.

A quote for the consult fee will be provided, please note discount rates apply for Centrelink concession card holders and children 0-16 years. Payment will be automatically processed AFTER your appointment, a small transaction fee of 1.75% + 0.30c will apply.

Reception staff will send your Medicare claim electronically on your behalf. Don’t have a mobile phone, no problem, we will contact you directly for payment over the phone.
